Perhaps it’s the holidays coming, but I’ve got a serious jones for a new gadget. I’ve looked at the RAZR phone from T-Mobile ($49 with a two-year extension of my contract), the video iPod (30GB, becuause the 60GB is too fat), and the iPod shuffle (could be good for grocery shopping, listening to music at lunch).

And still, I can’t pull the trigger on any of them. I’d like the RAZR, but I’m holding out until I can use it with iTunes like the ROKR. I’d like a video iPod, but the next generation has to have better battery life for video. And I’d like a shuffle, but I don’t really need one at all.

I suppose I did order a new gadget though – a new G4 iBook to replace my recently-dead G3 iBook. Not that exciting though, since it’s only replacing a gadget I already had. But this one will be fast enough for doing work on, plus it comes with Airport and Bluetooth.
