I was surprised how few people made it out for the show considering how large a crowd turned out for their Lollapalooza set. But no matter, they played an excellent set of droning, guitar-heavy songs – mostly about the benefits of drug use. Even better, the evening had a great opener too – Gris Gris. They played something that came off as a low-fi blues rock – a mix of John Spencer and The Black Eyed Snakes. Lots of guitar, feedback and style.
