Another excellent show that for whatever reason, I just wasn’t feeling. I think something in me may be broken, because this was a fantastic show. It may be due to the fact that I’ve had a lot of change in my life over the last month. It also might be that I was particularly salty about missing the opening band, Wolf Parade, whom I was particularly looking forward to seeing. It could be that it was way fucking crowded, which in extreme doses, will distract me from the show. I could also be that this was the third time I’ve seen The Arcade Fire in a roughly six-month period, which is rarely a good idea. The only band I’ve seen that much in that short a period of time has been The Pixies. And they’re The Pixies. You can do that for them.

I hope I return to normal soon, because I’m seeing a lot of good shows in October, and it would be a real shame if I’m phoning them in.
