This is an awfully tardy post, but some friends and I went to the MediaBistro/HOW Design party last week at The Apartment. It was a great event – socializing was encouraged, where "networking" wasn’t. That was a nice touch, since I hate talking to people who are trying to figure out what my agenda is to talk to them. That can be an exhausted conversation. But this (mostly) wasn’t like that, and I had the opportunity to meet some very nice folks, some of which I’m sure I’ll see again.
